The division is a method of distributing a group of things into equal parts.
Division is the opposite of multiplying. When we know a multiplication fact we can find a division fact.
गुणा करने की प्रक्रिया के विरुद्ध प्रक्रिया को विभाजन (division) या भाग करना कहा जाता है। किसी संख्या को बराबर समूह में बांटना ही भाग कहलाता है।
भाग को ÷ या / चिह्न से प्रदर्शित किया जाता है।
Example: 7 × 5 = 35, so 35 / 5 = 7.
Also 35 / 7 = 5.
